- After 43 years of operating
a leather shop it was time for the next step. Ann Marie and I
closed the Main Street store after Christmas of 2012. We
now make our belts from our new workshop at home and sell through
this website.
In order to preserve some peace and quiet in semi-retirement,
we do not have a business phone. You may order using email and
pay through PayPal (see below) or send a check and a note the

- We ship most anywhere:
USPS Priority Mail rates for international shipments - the small
flat rate box (one or two belts) is US$32.20 to Canada and about
US$42.00 everywhere else.

you are and the weight. Not as fast, but just as reliable.

- ABOUT BELT
LEATHER COLOR

- To help you decide
on belt strap color, it might be good to know about dyeing leather
hides. The hides we use are vat dyed not sprayed with artificial
finishes. This allows for deeper penetration of color. Although
the tannery uses the same formula for every dye batch of a color,
hides can take the dye differently. Consequently, a color might
vary a bit from hide to hide.
- You can get a
better feel for the variations in color by looking at all the
belt pages to see the differences.

- About burgundy:
Our burgundy is on the light side and might be somewhat redder
that some deeper burgundies. If you are looking for something
more oxblood or like cordovan, this is not what you want.
PayPal
Using PayPal is simple. Place your order in an email to us. We
will reply with the amount due, time of delivery, reference to
Paypal, and any questions we might have. At our request, Paypal
will send an invoice to you. Paypal accepts credit cards. You
do not need a Paypal account. Also, Venmo can be used to pay
the invoice.
